How Does NET Work?
NET works on the idea that emotions are a very real physical phenomenon. When we have a feeling, there is a wash of neuropeptides that flood through our whole body so that the emotional experience happens in our entire body. If this emotion is too powerful for us to handle/process at the time, the experience has a tendency to lock itself into our body where it can create:
There are 4 stages to a NET treatment:
Step #1: Checking for NECs
This step uses a combination of muscle testing, acupuncture meridian balancing and dialogue to help determine the specifics of the NEC and how to remove it from your body by balancing out the acupuncture meridians that have been effected by the NEC. It is a relatively quick (5-10 minute) process that is surprisingly effective and gentle.
Step #2: Checking for Toxic Imbalances
To help the body stay in balance and flush out any toxic substances associated with the NEC, we use a specialized set of homeopathics that will help support your body and mind as you release the old, unhealthy patterns in your body. Step #3: Checking for Nutritional Imbalances
The stress of a NEC can place a great strain on your physiology which causes it to use nutritional compounds at an accelerated rate. There may be times when we need to support your body with additional building blocks such as vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. Often by releasing an NEC, your body will be able to better absorb the nutrients that it needs.
Step #4: Checking for Structural Imbalances
This is the body oriented step in this procedure. We save it for last because by clearing the NECs, toxins and nutritional imbalances in the first 3 steps, many structural imbalances either resolve or improve dramatically. This makes any adjustments, massage, acupuncture or other body oriented therapies work more quickly and last longer.
